How Rogue is hosting the 2020 Rogue Invitational via live stream in response to Covid 19
Rogue Fitness started from humble beginnings in 2006 from a garage, later got a warehouse, and today operates from a multi acre, multi million dollar headquarters based in Columbus, Ohio. They have been the official equipment provider for CrossFit since 2010 and have sponsored CrossFit athletes such as Mat Fraser, Rich Froning, Tia-Clair Toomey, and more.
“The 2nd annual Rogue Invitational will be held Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, with all coverage streaming live on RogueFitness.com/invitational and the Rogue Fitness YouTube channel from 10am to 5pm EST both days.
As an exclusively online competition, all 35 participating athletes (18 men and 17 women) will be competing from their own chosen locations around the world, while the Rogue team simultaneously brings together each individual stream to create a single, comprehensive live broadcast. Our coverage will kick off each day with a 30-minute edition of the Iron Game studio show, featuring highlights, athlete interviews, and expert analysis.
This year’s line-up of competitors, once again, includes many of the biggest names in CrossFit, including the reigning Fittest Man and Fittest Woman on Earth, Mat Fraser and Tia-Clair Toomey, as well as Patrick Vellner, Noah Ohlsen, Sara Sigmundsdottir, Katrin Davidsdottir, and more.”
This year is a little different with Rogue sending each athlete the equipment needed for each event to be completed and streamed from multiple locations.
