The 2018 CrossFit Games are now in their second week with the Open 18.2 Announcement workout at CrossFit R.A.W. in Gibsonia, PA between Patrick Vellner and Noah Ohlsen.
The 18.2 Workout
1 x Dumbbell Squat
1 x Bar Facing Burpee
2 x Dumbbell Squat
2 x Bar Facing Burpee
3 x Dumbbell Squat
3 x Bar Facing Burpee
4 x Dumbbell Squat
4 x Bar Facing Burpee
Complete ladder up to 10 reps of both exercise
The dumbbell Squats will involve holding a dumbbell in each hand.
Male 50 lb – Female 35 lb
Once complete transition into the second portion of 18.2.
Use the remaining time from the 12 minutes to establish a 1RM Clean
Score is a combination of both parts of the workout.
The 18.2 Open Live Announcement did not disappoint with Ohlsen crushing the first part of the workout and Vellner stepping up with a powerful 18.2 A performance.
